Also from the west coast, if that is better? Actually, from the west coast would be more logical in this case, I believe.

There has been concern expressed that I may be going to try this myself with no experience. I am not. I’m an author. This is research for a story I am writing. I very much appreciate all help and advice in this.

It’s not a small boat, it’s a big one, with three or four masts and the sailors are very skilled, they were all around the globe. Anyway I was reading about modern pirates and now I’m scared. I know they are mostly attacking cargo and cruise ships, but what about sailboats? It’s not a luxurious one, but I’m still worried.
