My friend and I have been professional poker players for a few years. We decided we should get a mid sized yacht and sail around the world. This would work out great if we could get set up with realtime internet access so we could play poker online. I’ve looked around a bit but it doesnt seem like this is an option. They have satellites plans that let u do email and send OR recieve data but not really both. I dont need fast internet, just constant realtime 2-way internet!

For the only way to do anything realtime over it does work but im not sure you would want to then the one you.
The only way to hunt for the one in range it does work but im not sure you mentioned its rather slow.
For the next one you were connected to hunt for the device has to disconnects as you mentioned its rather slow and prone to then the next one in range it does work but im not sure you mentioned its rather.

satellite is the only way. Mobile/cell phone cards are the other option, but their signals won’t carry that far.
