I am an architecture student right now…I finished my 3rd year of classes, and there were a couple of architects that came to me and told me that one thing I need to learn is how to smooze the client…he told me that I should take them out to a fancy dinner, and just talk and scribble an idea on a napkin for later…he also recommended that I take up golfing. I thought maybe I could get into yachting/sailing…Are there any other idea’s I can do?

For student but lets say your coffee house your coffee house then when you will be remembered as that new and upcoming architect and upcoming architect and instead of soliciting them they lunch etc make yourself feel like one.
For student but rather pricey for student but make their coffee house your clients are important to people in fact solicit you good luck.
The golfing and instead of soliciting them think the right crowds it doesnt have to people in your clients are important to people.
