I would love to add, the reason I have a yacht is not a symbol of me having money. I grew up sailing, so did my family, and their fathers, and grandfathers.

What having a yacht but no house says to me:
I might have money but I am hesitant to put down roots.
Having a yacht is your symbolic and subconcious way of saying “I have my freedom” - especially when you don’t have a house to go home to.
Putting down roots shows emotional stability, and the ability to commit. Purchasing a yacht but no house says to me that you will always have one foot out the door.
